Gardens in and around Carmarthen are often generous in size, with stone houses, field hedges and mature trees as neighbours. When they are left, they can quickly fill with bramble, nettle, ivy and fallen wood. We clear the lot, dismantle what is beyond saving, and take the waste away, giving you back an open, tidy garden.
Some of our work is in the town itself, and some is out on the farmland edge, where a plot may be much larger than it looks from the road. We are glad to look at either, and we will tell you plainly how we would approach it.

Carmarthen sits in the Towy valley, surrounded by farmland, and many gardens finish at a field hedge rather than a fence. That boundary brings its own growth: bramble arches in from the hedge, thorn suckers shoot up through the grass, and ivy pulls on old posts. We cut all of this back and clear the line of the boundary properly, so the hedge stays where it should be and does not keep spreading into your lawn.
Big plots also hold surprises. Old compost heaps, piles of timber, rusted wire and former veg beds all appear once the top growth is cut. We deal with these in order, keeping what you want and removing the rest, and checking the ground as we go, so you finish with a Carmarthen garden that is genuinely clear and not just trimmed on the surface.

Mature trees give a lot to a Carmarthen garden but they also drop leaves, twigs and seedlings, and they shade out lawns, particularly beside stone walls. After several neglected seasons, the ground can be buried under compacted leaf litter and tangled low growth. We rake, cut and remove this, working around the trees you want to keep and taking care not to damage roots or bark.
Where branches have come down or deadwood is lying about, we saw it up, stack it if you want logs, or take it away with the rest. If a tree itself needs attention, such as pruning or crown lifting, we can look at that as part of a separate job, once the ground beneath it has been cleared and made safe to work in, which is also much easier on the crew.
Whether you own a house in Carmarthen or look after a rental, we can agree a plan for the garden and see it through. There is no need to hire a skip. We also cover Llangunnor, Johnstown, Nantgaredig and Abergwili, so if your garden is a short drive away, tell us the address and what needs to go.

The cost of garden clearance depends on how much there is to remove, how easily it can be reached and what has to be taken away.

A gravel garden can cut mowing and weeding, but only if the ground is cleared and prepared properly first, and the planning matters more than the stones.

Tree surgery is priced job by job rather than from a fixed list, so this guide explains what moves the cost up or down and how to get a firm figure.
Read the guide →Yes. We cut back the growth coming in from field hedges, clear bramble and thorn from the boundary and remove everything we cut. If your boundary hedge is also overgrown, we can include that or deal with it separately.
We load it onto our vehicle and take it away. Cuttings, branches, leaf litter and old plants do not stay on your property unless you have asked us to leave some timber or brash for your own use.
Yes. Empty or inherited houses often have gardens that have grown wild. We can clear the ground, remove old structures and rubbish and leave a neat plot, which can help whether you plan to sell, let or move in yourself.
