Cwmbran was planned as a new town, with estates, open green spaces and avenues of homes that each came with a garden. Decades later, many of those gardens have grown hedges, shrubs and weeds well beyond what anyone intended. We clear overgrowth, old sheds, fencing and rubbish, and take it all away.
Our Cwmbran work includes rear gardens, front plots and the shared side paths that often get forgotten. Homeowners, landlords and sellers all call us, and we are happy to talk through the garden in detail with you before we start, so you know what to expect.

On many Cwmbran estates, gardens are of a similar size and shape, and so are the problems. Garden hedges planted decades ago are now tall and wide, privet and laurel have crept into the lawn, and the sheds and fence panels installed when the house was new have reached the end of their lives. We take these down, clear the area beneath them and load everything onto our vehicle, leaving the plot open again.
Because plots in Cwmbran are compact, an overgrown hedge or shrub can fill most of the space. Our approach is to cut it back to a sensible size, remove the waste and restore the open feel of the garden, letting light back in to the house and the lawn. If a hedge needs more shaping afterwards, we can do that as a separate hedge trimming job.

Neglect in Cwmbran does not always stay behind the house, and the front is often just as bad. Front gardens fill with weeds and bins, side paths narrow under growth, and open spaces near homes collect rubbish that blows in or gets left. We clear these areas thoroughly, focusing on keeping paths and gates usable and making the property presentable from the street and from the avenue it sits on.
That matters if you are letting or selling, but it also matters to neighbours, who tend to notice a plot that has gone wild. A quick, thorough clearance often does more for the look of a house than people expect, even before anything new is planted, and we remove everything we cut so nothing is left at the kerb or in the shared space nearby.
Most Cwmbran clearances are for people who simply cannot find the weekends or do not have the tools and transport. We handle the cutting, loading and removal, then leave a garden you can start using. We also cover Llantarnam, Pontnewydd, Croesyceiliog, Henllys and Pontypool, so if your home is close to Cwmbran, send us the address and a short description of the garden.

The cost of garden clearance depends on how much there is to remove, how easily it can be reached and what has to be taken away.

A gravel garden can cut mowing and weeding, but only if the ground is cleared and prepared properly first, and the planning matters more than the stones.

Tree surgery is priced job by job rather than from a fixed list, so this guide explains what moves the cost up or down and how to get a firm figure.
Read the guide →Yes. We can cut back or take out overgrown hedges and shrubs, and we remove the waste. If you want to keep the hedge, we cut it to a sensible size and take the cuttings away, and a regular trim later can keep it that way.
Yes. Front plots and side paths are part of garden clearance too. Mention them when you contact us, and we will include the weeds, rubbish and growth there along with the main back garden, so the whole property is done together.
Yes. We take down worn-out sheds, fence panels and posts where they are no longer worth keeping, and remove them along with the rest of the waste from your Cwmbran garden. If you want a new fence afterwards, we can discuss that once the area is clear.
