These photos come from a selection of jobs in Bridgend rather than one single garden. They include a tall hedge trimmed from a ladder, a front laurel hedge cut back beside the road, climbers cleared from a back fence, a small tree reduced in a paved front garden and a large tree above two garden sheds.

The first photo shows a tall, rounded hedge in a back garden with a ladder against it and a long-handled trimmer in use, while the roadside job shows a laurel hedge cut to a clean line with a heap of green clippings on the kerb beside it. Hedges that face a road need clippings cleared quickly, so the kerb is swept and nothing is left in the way of people walking past.
The other photos show a different kind of work. One rear boundary has climbers and brambles cut back along a dark fence, with cut branches stacked in a barrow. A small tree in a paved front garden has been reduced, with a chainsaw on the ground, and a row of tall shrubs by festoon lights has been pruned hard. The last shows a large tree above two sheds, with cut stubs visible. Where there are climbers or ivy on a fence, we check the fence is sound once the growth is off.
